Join with the UC and Cal State Student Associations to protect our nation’s DACA recipients.

On September 5, President Donald Trump announced his decision to effectively end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. This decision will uproot the lives of an estimated 700,000 DACA recipients across the nation. Together, UC and the California State University (CSU) systems have more than 12,300 undocumented students, many of whom have DACA.

Join us in calling on Congress to immediately pass bipartisan legislation that would provide a permanent legislative solution for these young people – one that allows them to continue to live, work and serve the only country most of them have ever known as home.

You can read both UC President Janet Napolitano and CSU Chancellor Timothy White’sstatements in response to the Trump Administration’s announcement to rescind DACA online. Additionally, you can view UC and CSU’s undocumented student resources website, as well as a letter from UC, CSU and the California Community College system in support of DACA, online.
