As a non-profit, 501 (c) 3, CSSA is committed to being financially and operationally transparent. CSSA meets all information reporting requirements as defined in the IRS Tax Code. As an official student body association, CSSA also operates under the Gloria Romero Open Meetings Act of 2000.

2018/2019

Plenary meetings are an assembly of California State University (CSU) student leaders, who meet monthly to discuss pertinent higher education issues in order to strategize solutions to improve the lives of CSU students. These student leaders come from each of the 23 CSU campus’s Associated Students (Inc.) and make up the Cal State Student Association (CSSA) Board of Directors.  This plenary meeting included the meeting of the CSSA committees, who help inform the CSSA Board of Directors.

CSSA’S BOARD OF TRUSTEES REPORTS

The CSSA President provides a bi-monthly standing report to CSU Trustees during their regularly scheduled public meetings. The reports include organizational updates and are recorded in the official meeting minutes.
