Liaisons are representatives of California State University (CSU) systemwide organizations. Each liaison provides perspectives and advises the Cal State Student Association (CSSA) Board of Directors. Liaisons are not voting members of the board of directors or any governing committee.

CSU BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The 25-member Board of Trustees adopts regulations and policies governing the entire CSU system. Board committees have authority over educational policy, finance, campus planning, and facilities, among other areas. The Board of Trustees liaisons to CSSA are the two student trustees.

OFFICE OF THE CHANCELLOR

The Office of the Chancellor serves as the headquarters of the CSU system. Jolene Koester is interim Chancellor of the California State University system, the largest public four-year system of higher education in the United States. As Chancellor, she oversees 23 campuses, more than 482,000 students, and 53,000 faculty and staff.

AOA

The members that make up the Auxiliary Organizations Association (AOA) are the auxiliaries of the 23 campuses CSU system. Typically these organizations include foundations that manage contracts and grants or gifts to the university, enterprise corporations that run bookstores and food services, associated student organizations and student unions, and sometimes athletic or housing corporations.
