STATE ADVOCACY
CSSA advocates for students at the California capitol in Sacramento and in district offices throughout the year. This advocacy includes ensuring student needs are reflected in the annual state budget, policies, and other state run programs that effect students at our institution.

FEDERAL ADVOCACY
CSSA maintains a federal relations program in order to affect federal policies that impact CSU students. This program includes regular advocacy trips to Washington, D.C., where students meet with elected officials and higher education stakeholders about pressing higher education issues and provide a valuable CSU student perspective.
